For the next 2 weeks we will be learning about caterpillars and butterflies! We will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, learning about the life cycle and many other fun activities! Remember to keep practicing letters, letter sounds, beginning/ending sounds, sight words, numbers, counting, 1:1 correspondence, positional concepts, and reading comprehension. Print out these Alphabet Caterpillar to use in many different ways: • Create an A-to-Z caterpillar using an entire set of caterpillar letters. • Use both sets of letters to match pairs of uppercase and lowercase letters. • Use the set of lowercase letters to create simple words. • Spell your child's name with the letters. • Encourage your child to name the caterpillar, and then spell the name using the caterpillar letters. • Show your child a letter. Ask him/her to say the sound the letter makes and then add the letter to the caterpillar
