· Practice your name and letters by making them using small cereal, mini marshmallows, fish crackers of buttons.
· Write a simple sentence and draw a picture to go with it. Write about something that you like, such as a toy, a food, a place.
· Count to 10, 20, 30 or 50. How high can you go? Jump every time you say a 10…10, 20, 30, etc…Touch your toes when you say a 5…15, 25, 35, etc…
· Practice identifying body parts (ex- eyes, nose, head, arm, leg, belly, etc). You can ask your child to point to certain body parts on themselves or on you or you can point to a body part and ask them to identify it verbally.
· Work on social questions. Ask your child to answer questions regarding their first name, last name, full name, age, gender, school, teachers, birthday, address, town, phone numbers or parents names.
· Get some exercise with the Letter Sounds Workout! Get moving and have fun!
